"Face to Face," or Panim el Panim in Hebrew, is Temple's campaign to grow in strength by deepening relationships within the congregation. The initiative is modeled on "listening campaigns" as practiced within congregations that take part in community organizing. Essentially, "Face to Face" is our effort to connect as many members as possible with as many other members as possible, in brief, intentional conversations about our lives, our passions, our concerns.

Throughout the year 5770 (2009-2010), we will sustain this listening campaign. As we listen to each other, so will we respond to each other. We expect that this initiative will strengthen our shared sense of belonging to Temple, that it will inspire new and innovative programs within the congregation, and that it will deepen our connections beyond the synagogue.
