TMS Religious School & Mitzvah Day Event
Join us for Tefilah at 9:30 am in the Krupp Chapel. After Tefilah we will continue by participating in the Federation’s Good Deeds Day on April 2 by preparing toiletry bags and backpacks with school supplies for the Rainbow Room, an emergency assistance venue for case workers to obtain needed items for children who have been removed from their homes and are going into foster care. We will be collecting the following items: gently used backpacks, luggage, diaper bags, car seats, and duffle bags; school supplies for 1st – 5th graders to include glue, crayons, composition books, pencils, erasers, rulers, colored pencils, markers, and notebook paper; and travel sized toiletries. Donated items can be dropped off at Temple in the Religious School area prior to April 2.
For questions, please contact Darren Brown.
If you would like to be a part of Social Action team or if you have any questions, please contact Darren Brown or Rabbi Ben Zeidman.
