GOOD DEEDS DAY

APRIL 2, 2017

This will be the Second Good Deeds Day. Please read below the description of each project and make your selection. We're looking forward to another great volunteer event!

1) Jardin de los Milagros

We will be harvesting vegetables and fruits from the farm to be donated to the different Food Banks in the area. Volunteers ages 6 and over are welcome; minors need to be accompanied by an adult. Project begins at 11 am.

What you will need: Hat, sunscreen

2) Canutillo Animal Rescue League

We will be painting two rooms at the shelter which need paint and renovation. Volunteers ages 6 and over are welcome; minors need to be accompanied by an adult. Project begins at 10 am.

What you will need: Wear old clothes (They WILL get dirty)

3) El Paso Food Bank

We will be sorting food donations to the Food Bank. Volunteers ages 6 and over are welcome; minors need to be accompanied by an adult. Project begins 10 am.

4) Villa Maria Shelter Home

We will be cooking dinner and eating with the residents. Adults Only. Project begins 4 pm - LIMITED NUMBER NEEDED.

5) Rainbow Room Donations

Join us at 9:30 am at Temple; we will be collecting donations for the Rainbow Room, a non profit organization helping abused children. All Volunteers Are Welcome! All donations will be used to stuff 36 backpacks with school supplies for children grades 1st to 5th, plus 36 toiletry bags with travel sized necessities. What you can bring:

- Gentle used backpacks, luggage, diaper bags, car seats, duffle bags

- School supplies for 1st to 5th graders

- Glue, crayons, composition books, pencils/erasers, rulers, colored pencils, markers, wide rule paper, etc.

- Travel sized toiletries

Bring donations to Temple Mount Sinai, 4408 N Stanton St. On April 2nd, come and help our Sunday school students in putting together the donations. Parents are welcome to help!
