Shabbat Morning Service with Scholar in Residence, Dr. Daniel Matt

“Raising the Sparks:  Finding God in the Material World”

The Dvar Torah during morning services will center on how God can be encountered in our daily lives.  Dr. Matt will refer to passages from Kabbalah and Hasidism on the nature of God, the act of Creation, and the challenge of discovering God in the material world.
