Encanto Performs at Temple
Encanto, El Paso’s historical period instrument ensemble, will be performing for our Temple community on Sunday, July 8th, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Krupp Chapel. The members of Encanto will play the music of the Baroque period on period instruments. Our very own Music Director, Carlos Gamez, will participate in the concert performing 18th-century copies of a baroque flute and recorder. The afternoon will feature the compositions of the great Baroque masters, contemporaries of Johann Sebastian Bach, such George Phillip Telemann, Pierre Prowo, William Williams, Pietro Locatelli, and Jacques-Martin Hotteterre. The concert is open to the public at no cost.
