Once each month, September through May, Rabbi Bach offers a mid-day lesson over lunch. The learning is free, and you are welcome to bring a lunch (dairy or pareve, please) or have what we're having ($10/session or $72 to prepay for nine sessions). The dates are listed below, along with topics as they become available. 2008-2009 participants voted on the topics for the current year, and overwhelmingly chose a "Rabbi's Choice" or "Grab-bag" model.
Our first Lunch and Learn after the summer hiatus will be held on September 15 at noon. We'll gather in Zielonka Hall for a delicious meal prepared by Chef Samantha Pittle Briseno, and Rabbi Bach will offer some thoughts to prepare us for the High Holidays.
Future dates are: October 20; November 17; December 15; January 19; February 16; March 2; April 6; May 4
Please send in your check for $72 (payable to "Temple Mount Sinai") if you want to prepay for the year, or for $10 if you prefer to pay as you go.To help us plan for the right number of people, please let us know if you'll be attending, and if you'll be having lunch.
