Israel Trip Day 8 - March 19, 2018

Day Eight - a most exciting, adventurous agenda with non-stop sights and action!!!

 

We started our day with a visit to the Ahava factory outlet where many of their mineral-rich products are bottled and packaged.

Israel Trip Day 7 - March 18, 2018


Today began with a drive from our hotel when we passed through a residential area called Rehova and drove past Bibi’s house on our way up to the National Holocaust Memorial named Yad Vashem.

MARCH 17, 2018 -- DAY 6
Shabbat is a time for rest. The Orient hotel provided a beautiful environment to accomplish just that. On our  free morning some of the group caught up on sleep or relaxed reading in one of the exquisite courtyards.

Israel Trip Day 5 - March 16, 2018

Upon leaving the Pastoral Kibbutz, we progressed to the Kinneret Cemetery. Before leaving Rabbi informed us of a special resident, Rachel (the Poetess).

Israel Trip Day 4 - March 15, 2018

Israel Trip Day 3 - March 14, 2018

We eagerly began our third day in Israel with another amazing breakfast at the Carlton Hotel. We bid “shalom”  to Tel Aviv  and boarded the bus for our drive along the Mediterranean Sea coast to Haifa. Our tour guide, BG, filled our time on the bus with a detailed explanation of israeli and Jewish history.

We started off in the old city of Jaffa and walked to the top of the overlook for an introduction to Tel Aviv and Jaffa.
