MSTY

Our MSTY group had a great time in Phoenix, Arizona for the Winter Kallah weekend January 13-15.  137 members of the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY)nfty_region_logo_for_website_SW spent the weekend together participating in many different activities. The theme for the weekend was the importance of taking care of yourself, as well as taking care of others, and there were workshops teaching stress relief techniques and groups that reached out to sick and/or homebound congregants just to say hi.

The next event is Spring Kallah, April 7-9 in Phoenix, AZ. This event is the last one for this school year, and there will be a lot of great activities planned. Please register your child(ren) at www.southwest.nfty.org.  To add this event to your calendar, click here.

Scholarships are available via the NFTY website, Levy website or contact Stacy Berry for more information. Registration is now open!

On Friday, March 31st, approximately 15 NFTY teens from Temple Beth Emet in Evanston, IL will be attending Kabbalat Shabbat Service at Temple Mount Sinai.  These NFTYites will be in town through Cristo Rey Lutheran Church's Border Immersion Experience to deepen their understanding of Jewish migration, Diaspora, assimilation and connect Jewish history to immigration issues today. I would love all MSTYites to attend services on March 31st to welcome them to El Paso.  We will be having dinner together after services (details to follow). Please Stacy know that you will be attending. To add this event to your calendar, click here.
